Itinerary


1. Arrive St Petersburg
On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant this evening and meet your fellow passengers.

2. St Petersburg, Embark Ship
Enjoy a city tour this morning, which takes you to attractions such as St Isaac’s Cathedral, the Nevsky Prospect and Palace Square. Afterwards, take a guided tour of the amazing imperial estate, Peterhof Palace. Board your river ship.

3. St Petersburg
After breakfast today, head out to enjoy a tour of the lavish Catherine Palace and grounds, which was constructed in the 18th century as a summer palace for the Empress. After spending time exploring here, spend the afternoon at your leisure to take in the sights of St Petersburg.

4. St Petersburg
Take a Hydrofoil ride over the waters of the Neva River to the State Hermitage for a tour of the museum. Forming part of the Winter Palace, it is home to Russia’s royal art collection of more than three million works.

5. Lake Ladoga, Mandrogi
After cruising through the night, dock in Mandrogi, a charming village teeming with traditional houses. Afterwards, spend time at leisure to look around and browse the handmade trinkets for sale.

6. Lake Onega, Kizhi Island
Situated on Lake Onega, Kizhi is home to some of Russia’s most amazing wooden architecture. Explore the open-air museum of wooden buildings and marvel at the World Heritage-listed Transfiguration Church, built in 1714 without the use of a single nail.

7. White Lake, Goritsy
Today cruise onto the White Lake, then dock in Goritsy, a small and peaceful farming town. Your guided tour here includes a visit to the Monastery of St Cyril on the White Lake and its Museum of Icons.

8. Yaroslavl
Today stop in the historic Golden Ring city, Yaroslavl. Founded by Prince Yaroslav the Wise in 1010, this is one of Russia’s oldest cities, tracing its roots back to the Vikings. Here, a sightseeing tour illuminates the city’s history through its glorious architecture, including Spassky Monastery and the Church of Elia the Prophet.

9. Uglich
Dock in another Golden Ring city, Uglich. Here, select your preferred activity.

10. Moscow
Dock in Moscow this afternoon and enjoy an insightful tour of Red Square and St Basil’s Cathedral.

11. Moscow
Take a guided tour of the Armoury Museum within the walls of the Kremlin, a historic fortified complex that was once the royal residence of the Tsars. Later, personalise your experience with a choice of activities.

12. Moscow, Disembark Ship
Marvel at some of Moscow’s unique Metro stations, which feature chandeliers and marble statues. This evening, enjoy a Farewell Dinner, accompanied by traditional Russian folklore.

13. Depart Moscow
Be transferred to the airport.
