Itinerary
1. Arrive Prague
Be met on arrival and transfer to your hotel. This evening, get to know your fellow travellers and Tour Director during tonight’s Welcome Reception.
2. Prague
Stroll over Charles Bridge on the way to the Old Town Square. Tonight, a Welcome Dinner awaits at La Rotonde restaurant.
3. Prague
Head out of the city where a special experience awaits you.
4. Prague, Velké Bílovice, Budapest, Embark Ship
Travel to Velké Bílovice for a light lunch in a delightful Czech wine cellar. Continue to Budapest and board your river ship. This evening, enjoy a cruise around the sparkling lights of Budapest's monuments.
5. Bratislava
Admire Bratislava on a guided tour.
6. Vienna
Take a walking tour of Vienna today.
7. Budapest
During a guided tour of Budapest, visit the Hungarian Parliament. A magnificent example of neo-gothic architecture, the building is now over 100 years old and houses the old House of Lords and the Hungarian Crown Jewels.
8. Mohács, Pecs
Arrive in Mohács and set out on your chosen discovery.
9. Belgrade
Learn about the city of Belgrade with a selection of included activities today.
10. Iron Gates
Cruise through one of Europe’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders, the Iron Gates. Here the Danube narrows as it winds through a series of magnificent gorges between Serbia and Romania.
11. Giurgiu, Disembark Ship, Brașov
Disembark your ship and travel to Brașov, stopping en route at the Slanic Salt Mine.
12. Brașov, Bran, Moeciu
Visit Bran Castle, perched high above a valley and the likely inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula's Castle. Continue to Moeciu for lunch, followed by a horse and carriage ride. Return to Brașov for a tour.
13. Brașov, Sinaia, Bucharest
Travel to the mountain resort of Sinaia for a visit to Peleș Castle. Back in Bucharest, enjoy free time before a city tour, taking in the Belle Epoque buildings and the Old City. Enjoy a Farewell Dinner this evening.
14. Depart Bucharest
Be transferred to the airport.
