5 Day A Merry Little Christmas Cruise
1. Embark At Budapest
What's up, river roaming crew? Who's pumped for 2 weeks of water based good times? We'll kick things off as we mean to go on tonight with a welcome party complete with tasty Hungarian street food, then who's up for a slice of Budapest nightlife? We reckon the legendary ruin bars are calling...
2. Budapest To Bratislava
Majestic, bohemian, post-modern Budapest is waiting. Today, you'll visit a Christmas market in Vörosmarty Square (yummy tastings included) and then you have the afternoon to do your thing or let us show you around with one of our U Time optionals like, visiting a Jewish Synagogue, seeing some seriously gorgeous libraries or braving the aptly named House of Terror museum. Tonight, join us for an included castle Ice-skating session and then opt to top it all off with a winter time magic bath party at famous Lukacs Bath, complete with laser show, DJ, cocktails and beer. Then, watch the lights of Budapest fade away as we party the night away with an onboard DJ appearance and make our way to Bratislava overnight.
3. Bratislava To Vienna
Slovakia's capital city doesn't disappoint - This small town is known for its charm, Czech beer, bohemian cuisine and art deco cafes. Start the day with a walking tour of old town where you'll explore the toys, decorations and delicacies of the Christmas Markets. Then, onboard our chef will teach us all a thing or two about making famous Austrian desserts (Topfenstrudel anyone?) as well as an initiation to the art of drinking Viennese coffee. Docking early evening, we'll get our first glimpses of spellbinding Vienna, getting excited for what tomorrow will bring.
After a leisurely breakfast, we'll get you orientated with Austria's elegant and artistic capital city with a guided walking tour of the highlights, plus a tram ride around the Ringstrasse. Then, the choice is yours, and we've got plenty to tempt you with - an opera music/Viennese cooking class (at the same time, incredibly), a unique dining experience in 's giant ferris wheel, and even an after hours (read - no tourists) tour of the Schönbrunn Palace, the former residence of the imperial family. And if all THAT wasn't enough, tonight is all about one thing - classical music. This is what is best known for, so opt to join us for a performance at Klosterneuburg Abbey.
5. Disembark At Budapest
After one more blissful sleep, we're sad to say it's all over. River cruising, you're our new favourite way of travelling
