Itinerary


1. Arrive Prague
Be met and transferred to your hotel before a Welcome Reception.

2. Prague
Your sightseeing begins at Prague Castle, which affords sensational views of the city. Then, stroll over Charles Bridge on the way to the Old Town Square to marvel at the city’s Astronomical Clock. A memorable Welcome Dinner awaits at the award-winning La Rotonde restaurant.

3. Prague, Dresden, Berlin
Travel into Germany and on to the Dresden Elbe Valley. During a tour of Dresden itself, you’ll see the Castle of the Electors of Saxony, the Saxon Wall, the Semper Opera House and the Frauenkirche. Continue to the country’s capital, Berlin in time for dinner.

4. Berlin
Embark on a fascinating tour of Berlin including a visit to the Checkpoint Charlie and Brandenburg Gate, as well as the Checkpoint Charlie Museum.

5. Berlin, Potsdam
Today’s selection of activities offer a deeper discovery of Berlin. Afterwards, take an excursion to Potsdam, once the residence of Prussian kings. Here, you’ll enjoy a tour of the former summer palace of Frederick the Great, Sanssouci. The largest World Heritage-listed site in Germany, the palace of Sanssouci is surrounded by extensive gardens and parklands, which are a delight to explore.

Travel by coach to Poland and its lovely capital, Warsaw.

Gain a glimpse into the effect that war has had on the city of Warsaw and its people during a tour today. Visit the site of the Jewish Ghetto then head to Łazienki Park, where you’ll see Łazienki Palace.

Today in Auschwitz, visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum for a tour revealing the history of the concentration camp, as well as a walk through the grounds. Afterwards, travel to Kraków.

This afternoon, arrive in Vienna, Austria’s capital, home to striking architecture, a rich classical musical culture and vibrant cafes. Take in many of the city’s most important landmarks during a tour along the Ringstrasse, Vienna’s famous ring boulevard officially opened by Emperor Franz Joseph I in 1865. You’ll also enjoy a guided walk to St Stephen’s Cathedral.

Witness the skilful art of glass-blowing on board as you cruise towards the pretty Franconian town of Miltenberg this morning, where you may select an experience.

22. Rüdesheim, Andernach
Dock in Rüdesheim and set out on your chosen activity. Later, your ship’s Sun Deck offers the perfect vantage point from which to view the scenery of the Rhine Gorge as you cruise the Rhine’s most beautiful stretch. Onwards, at Andernach, disembark for an exclusive experience.
