Itinerary


1. Arrive Paris
Arrive in the romantic city of Paris and be transferred to your hotel. This evening, get to know your fellow travellers as you enjoy a Welcome Reception.

2. Paris, Tours, Loire Valley
Embark on a sightseeing tour of the 'City of Light' as you board a special Citroën 2CV vintage car to gain a unique perspective of this glamorous city. Afterwards, board your included high-speed train to Tours. You will then be transferred to the stunning Château de Beauvois, whose Renaissance Tower dates back to the 15th century. This evening, enjoy a special Welcome Dinner.

3. Tours, Loire Valley
Travel to Chenonceau and here, stop by Château de Chenonceau, a delightful and intriguing castle built during the 16th century, where you will embark on a tour. Later, pay a visit to Château de Villandry, where you will explore its exquisite gardens, including the unique Sun Garden. Afterwards, visit a winery for a tasting. Enjoy the evening at leisure to explore independently.

4. Tours, Bordeaux
Enjoy the morning at leisure to perhaps take in the wonderful surrounds of your stunning château. Afterwards, board your first-class train to Bordeaux. Upon arrival, take in the sights of the city on a walking tour that includes neo-classical neighbourhoods surrounding the Place des Quinconces. See the 18th-century Grand-Théâtre, as well as the reflecting pond in front of Place de la Bourse plus the narrow lanes of the Saint Pierre district.

5. Bordeaux, Arcachon, Cap Ferrat
This morning, board a train for the seaside town of Arcachon, renowned for its oyster harvesting. Here, you will enjoy a delicious tasting of fresh oysters. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at Cap Ferret, a beautiful headland situated on the Côte d'Argent which takes the form of a spit.

6. Bordeaux, Toulouse
Today, you will be able to choose the sightseeing activity that best suits your interests. Later, board your first-class train to Toulouse, where you will enjoy a delicious dinner.

7. Toulouse, Carcassonne
After breakfast, you will embark on a driving tour of the Airbus Factory. During your panoramic tour of the 700-hectare site, you will see the SAS Headquarters, training centre where the pilots are trained and the assembly sites for the A320-A350 flight lines. Later, board your first-class train to the medieval town of Carcassonne.

8. Carcassonne
Enjoy a walking tour of the fortified hilltop village, which is famed for its medieval fortress, the Cité de Carcassonne. Traces of humankind dating back to 6th century BC were found on the promontory where the Cité lies today. Afterwards, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to further explore this wondrous medieval village on your own.

9. Carcassonne, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence
This morning, embark on another fantastic first-class train journey to the picturesque village of Aix-en-Provence. En route, disembark your train in the busy port city of Marseille, a fascinating city situated on the Provençal coastline. Continue by train to your accommodation in Aix-en-Provence.

10. Aix-en-Provence
This evening, say goodbye newfound friends during a Farewell Dinner.

11. Aix-en-Provence, Paris
Transfer to the railway station, where you will board your included TGV train to Paris. Your tour ends on arrival in Paris.
